New coat #madeinUSA outfit details: “Wonderland” dress by Nanette Lepore; “Roxie” coat c/o Janska; patterned tights by Spanx from RueLaLa; statement necklace by David Aubrey jewelry

I am loving this cute little raincoat from Janska. Well, actually they call it the Roxie all-weather coat, but I had been looking for a cute and flattering #madeinUSA waterproof coat for these rainy afternoons we have been having every day. So when Janska reached out to see if I wanted to review one of their products I was intrigued by the fact that not only are their products made in USA, they are made right here in Colorado. I thought, “they know my weather!” And while they make many other cute shapes and types of coats, I really loved the Roxie in black - which I thought would best fit into my current wardrobe and give me the most flexibility.

I am really happy with the lightweight fabric - I can layer under it for warmth or I can wear it as is on days like today when it’s not really cold but just a chance of showers. And the shape is perfect! So feminine and flattering.

Check them out at and see the other coats they offer. And read more about the company and their made in USA efforts in this New York Times article.

So much goodness #madeinUSA outfit details: dark mixed jewel-toned silk top by Rozae Nichols and black jacket by Theory, both from Common Threads, Boulder; bra-friendly navy tank top from AdeaPaige Denim distressed boyfriend jeans from Nordstrom Rack; leather handmade clutch byElke“Missy” frame sunglasses from Kala Eyewear; earrings and feather necklace by Mercer & Jayne

First, I want to mention again how much I love shopping in consignment and thrift shops. I recently found this top and this black jacket, both #madeinUSA, at Common Threads here in Boulder. And they both fit so beautifully and I even liked them together so I made them an outfit.

Next I am so happy to have layering season upon us. The Adea tops are perfect layering pieces and some are made domestically so I have a nice collection. Here I went with a navy to keep the dark theme going.

Lastly, I want to highlight my cute little byElke clutch - I love her handmade bags. And I am super excited that she is up for one of the Martha Stewart American Made awards this time around. So head on over and vote!
